Re-assembling the settee and forward cabinetry.....yay!!
We still have to re-create the forward shelf and re-cover the existing fold-up tabletop. (The new vinyl floor is still safely covered with the green paper you see in the photo - this work is messy!)

Galley Sink
Went to Lowe's thinking that we'd buy a re-build seal kit for the original Delta faucet and a soap dispenser for the galley.
But.....the price for those two items was more than half of what a nice, new, modern faucet (including the soap dispenser) costs.
Duane said, "do whatever you want". I needed no further coaxing!
Viola!
New Delta faucet with a pull-out sprayer built in!

Cook top finished
Duane installed the new copper gas line for the cook top.
All done! Can't test it yet because we have to get new regulators for the old aluminum gas bottles (and have them DOT tested...)

Cook top installation
We're getting closer to having the cook top installed.
Duane routed out "most" of the tracing for the gas cooktop. Then he supported it from below so it wouldn't crack as he cut the final 3 areas that are currently holding it in place.
There you go - opening complete! Here you can see the ductwork below that routes the air around the convection oven.
Well, I spent a half hour vacuuming all the "snow" that was thrown off during the routing of the Corian.
All cleaned up and ready for the cooktop.
Cooktop in place - gotta make a run to Lowe's for some copper fittings to hook up the propane. All for now - it's HOT!

Galley work!
We have the galley cabinet in place now!!! Yippeee!
Duane assembled the convection oven ducting kit - hard to see, but it's a metal surround frame that shields the cabinet from the high temperatures of the oven.
Then he installed the black vent covers to finish it off.
Next, we'll cut the Corian countertop above the oven to accept the gas cooktop. Yeah! Progress!

More cabinet work
I don't like the interior of the cabinet....age has not been good to it. The shelf in the area under the sink was a bit "yucky".
So, starting with Kilz paint to cover some stains, I painted the area that will be hidden by the cabinet doors.

Next, I recoated with gloss white paint. I'll just be happier with everything bright and shiny. Also, I'll be able to easily clean up any of my own messes!!

Galley Cabinet
Starting to work on the galley cabinet. If you'll recall, there was an all-one-piece stovetop and oven originally. But we decided to go a little different route since I don't really expect to be baking much.
Duane had designed and built the shelf to support the new convection/microwave oven some time ago. Now we made the framework to hold the cooktop in place.
